Contained details of the contract of sale to Morgan Jones of 100 acres of land at the rate of 10/- per acre, the monies to be repaid in instalmens within six years, by Thomas Benbow Phillips, Bartlett James and Joao Rodrigues Saravia, proprietor of the Colony. When all stipulations of sale have been met in due course, Morgan Jones would have the title to his land. Also in the Contract, Morgan Jones was guaranteed to have provisions for the first twelve months and also any other assistance thereafter.
