Letter written to Thomas Benbow Phillips by Bartlett James at Rio de Janeiro dated 5 January 1860
Description
Thomas Benbow Phillips was reprimanded for attempting to cut and remove bark from Nova Cambria without permission. His father had died without paying in full for the allotment, so it reverted to its original owners, and Thomas Benbow Phillips was told not to correspond any further about the matter with Baron Manei or Bartlett James.
