Letter written to Thomas Benbow Phillips at Pelotas by Christopher James at Rio Grande do Sul, dated 28 May 1868.
Christopher James had received the tin of butter via the “Rio Grandense”, enclosed 10 milreis as payment, and returned the tin by the same steamer,
