Letter writen to Thomas Benbow Phillips at Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil by Stuart Barnes (Importer and Commission Merchant, North American Goods) at Calle Reconguista 72, Buenos Ayres, dated 17 April 1873
Stuart Barnes had received the letter from Thomas Benbow Phillips enquiring about Mr Phillips senior, who had returned from Patagonia on 26 March, and left for Monevideo about 1 April. Stuart Barnes hoped that he was now with Thomas Benbow Phillips and relating his experiences over the last two months.
