Letter written to Captain J G Evans of the Brig “Rush” by Stuart Barnes at Calle Reconguista 72, Montevideo, Buenos Ayres dated 27 January 1873
Stuart Barnes ordered the Captain to report to Thomas Benbow Phillips for instructions in accordance with those already ordered by himself. He was to obey Thomas Benbow Phillips faithfully and implicitly.
