Copy of a receipt received by Thomas Benbow Philips from David Douglas of the “Ceilia” of Montrose and John Baker, of the “Lonie Rye”, dated 16 December 1873
Both men had received 10 milreis each as a fee for surveying the Brig “Beautiful Star” of Dundee, on 13 December, 1873.
