Letter written to Thomas Benbow Phillips by Robert Dunn owner of the “Beautiful Star of Dundee” at Rio Grande, dated 3 December 1873
Robert Dunn informed Thomas Benbow Phillips that he could not raise the necessary money to make the “Beautiful Star” seaworthy enough to make the homeward journey, so he was transferring ownership to Thomas Benbow Phillips as agent of the Union Association of Underwiters of Dundee for them to sell.
