Description
Jean and her friends worked as Lunchtime Supervisors at Millbrook Infant and Junior School in Bettws, and they often socialised together outside work. These photographs are of one of their Christmas parties, held at a friend’s house. They also went to old time dancing classes together, and had Tupperware parties, jewellery parties and Avon parties. On a working day they would walk to the school together and after work would all have a cup of tea at someone’s house before picking their own children up from school. Mid-1960s to early 1970s
