Transcription:

'My dear Sir,

I have just received the enclosed note which I beg you will show to Mr. Wm. Chambers and send such answer as to you and him may appear expedient. If you determine to comply with Mr. Newmans request he should accompany you. I leave for Bristol at an early Hour this morning & shall return on Saturday evening.
