A record book kept at Swansea Docks listing the names of every ship that called at the port, its port of registry, its master's name, and its place of origin. In addition, records were kept of the ship's destination, days for loading, the loading dock, advice of readiness, when the work was completed, name of charterers, rate, and the number of tons of cargo on board.
