Man writing a letter

Wilfred Hughes was my Uncle. He was the last child of my grandfather Edward Allen Hughes with his first wife Jane, who died when he was an infant. My grandmother Annie raised him and went on to have eight children of her own including my mother who turned 98 in Sept 2021. Wilfred married twice and had a son. He was known for inheriting his father's prowess with carpentry and other crafts and he was well respected in the Llansilin and surrounding areas. Edward Allen was parish clerk as his Uncle Bell had been before him and another son Bell Herbert Hughes was verger.
