Adam Freeman, Project Manager at Pembroke 21C, shares his orchard story at a digital story workshop. This recording was created in a digital story workshop at Foundry House delivered by Catrin James and Emily Underwood-Lee in which volunteers were facilitated to create and record short stories about the community orchard they volunteer with at Greenhill Farm, Pwllcrochan, Pembrokeshire. Volunteers were introduced to the principals of recording oral histories and stories.

Pembroke 21C Community Interest Company is run by John Hogg and Adam Freeman. Pembroke 21C exists to work closely with the whole community to provide a focus for activities that are open to all, in order to encourage pride and community spirit in Pembroke in an environmentally and economically sustainable way. They are based at Foundry House, Pembroke, SA71 4DR and have planted a community orchard at Greenhill Farm, Pwllcrochan, Pembrokeshire, SA71 5TJ,
with help from The Heritage of Orchards and Cider Making in Wales project.

This digital story was created for ‘The Heritage of Orchards and Cider Making in Wales’, a two year HLF funded project in partnership with The George Ewart Evans Centre For Storytelling at The University of South Wales and The Welsh Cider and Perry Society.
