Description

Pocket watch presented to Sergeant William Humphrey Jones by a German officer in appreciation for their friendly relationship while he was a prisoner at the POW camp in Dorchester during 1919 where William was a guard. There is a name crudely engraved on this side which appears to be Peter Letzer.
The watch was created in Switzerland. Inside is engraved Rementoir Cylinder 80 which is the type of watch and model and the manufacturer STEINE.
