Cannon ball from HMS Conway, 19th century

Description

This round shot iron cannon ball weighs 32 pounds and was recovered from the ship HMS Conway. When it was built (as HMS Nile), the Conway was armed with guns of the same calibre on all decks, and all firing 32 pound smooth iron round shot of this pattern.
