Toy plates from the Glamorgan Pottery, Swansea, c. 1814-39
Description
These plates are part of a set of four toy plates made by Baker, Bevan & Irwin c. 1814-39. The rims are moulded with festoons and the centres are printed with groups of children playing in black, painted over in colours. The other two plates in the set also feature verses.
