Note: This is one of a set of four which included ‘An Irish Market Woman and Children’, ‘A Scotch Market Woman and Children’, ‘An English Market Woman and Daughter’
Another edition was ‘Published May 14, 1813, by H. Humphreys 27, St. James's St.’
(1) Woman with broad-brimmed felt hat with low crown, a bodice of white fabric with frilled edge, gown with the tail hooked up, separate sleeves, skirt or apron folded up; bold striped skirt, stockings, shoes with patens.
