Description: Woman with ‘man’s’ hat, fringed shawl wrapped around her head over a second fringed shawl; apron, relatively short check skirt, underskirt, boots, carrying a basket.
Note: Published with similar images of ‘Swansea Milk-Seller’ and ‘Swansea Market Woman’ in the Illustrated London News, 22nd October 1881, following the visit of the Prince of Wales to Swansea on the 17th October 1881.
