Description: Woman dressing a grave in a churchyard with flowers.
The woman is wearing a Welsh hat with black ties; finely goffered cap; bodice and skirt.
Note: Planting or placing cut flowers on a grave was a Welsh custom both immediately after a burial and at subsequent intervals and as a separate tradition, on Sul y Blodau (Palm Sunday but sometimes Easter Sunday or Whit Sunday).
