Description

Lieutenant Colonel John Christopher Harrison KH served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers during the Peninsular War. He commanded the Regiment, 1830-37. The portrait shows him wearing his uniform and medals and a sling cord to support his arm and hand which were wounded at Badajoz.
