Model of the ship 'Jane' which sailed from Aberaeron harbour
Description
The smack 'Jane' was commanded by Captain Thomas Morgan and after him by his son, David Morgan of Aberaeron. In November 1907, she went down off Mumbles point, a total loss, although David Morgan and his mate, Thomas Williams of Queen Street, were saved. Earlier in the same year she had discharged a cargo of broken stones, for Cardiganshire County Council, at Aberaeron.
