Description
The children's one mile race at Talley was won by Christian Lovatt, aged 10, of the Carmarthen Harriers in a time of 6 minutes 35 seconds. Second was Hywel Llyr, aged 11, of Llandeilo in 6 minutes 50 seconds. Third was Kari O'Neill, the first girl, aged 11, of Carmarthen Harriers, Talley in 6 minutes 58 seconds.
