A special joint act of Worship to celebrate Christian Aid Week was held in Providence Chapel, Cwmdu. Members of Esgairnant Chapel, Ebenezer Apostolic Church , St Michaels & All Angels and Providence Chapel formed the congregation.

The Sermon was given by Rev. Ainsley Griffiths from Trinity College, Carmarthen and the children from Talley School sang and recited poems that they had especially composed for the event. A collection was taken to support the work of Christian Aid and everyone was invited to light refreshments after the Service.
