The lady in the picture was Miss Annie Griffiths, the Inn, Cwmdu, serving her customers. For many years, she kept the Inn along with her brother and after he died, she carried on to keep the Inn and a shop, which offered groceries, household items, clothing and items, which were almost unobtainable during World War 11.
