This is a photograph taken at the Wedding of Devonald and Rowena Jones, who ran the village Post Office and stores at their home, Pretoria House. Previously Devonald's father, Sydney Gordon Jones, known as 'Jack Post' had run the Post Office from Malakoff House. Brenda James wrote that he was the first man in the village to have a car.
