On Bank Holiday Monday on 3 May 2010, 15 tractors from the surrounding areas, converged for a ploughing match in a 6 acre field on Huw Davies's farm at Gellicefhrhos, Cwmdu. They ranged from a 1939 model to a more modern1980's model but most of them dated from the 1950/1960's. Clive Pugh from Halfway came first with his T20 Fergie and a Ranson plough. Alan Jones from Pumpsaint was 2nd.

The tractor ploughing in the distance is a Ford 5000 whilst the stationary one is a Fordson Dexter.
