Letter from Colonel Trevor (Lord Dynevor) to [?William Chambers], 18 August 1843 [page 1 of 2]

Description

Transcription:

"Carmarthen, 18 August, 1843.

My dear Sir,

I am sorry I omitted to say anything about maintaining the witness in the case of M'Kiernan and Laing. I wish I had any fund at my disposal. Would not the trustees as individuals subscribe? We have a similar case in the main trust, and I hope they will in that Trust. I am now answerable for one man's maintenance till they decide, at 8s. a week. I hope things remain quiet in your neighbourhood.

Yours very truly,
Geo. Rice Trevor."
