One half of a postcard sent in 1954 but showing Cwmgors as it was in the 1910/20s.

Established in 1905 with 215 members transferring from Carmel, Gwaun-cae-gurwen. The history of the chapel is contained in the book Annibynwyr Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen.
