Gwaun-cae-gurwen, trade receipts

Here is a selection of receipts/bills for 'everyday purchases' at local shops etc in the Gwaun-cae-gurwen area in the first half of the C20th (mostly 1920/30s). These have a historical interest, not only for who and where the traders were, but what was being bought and at what price. Even the advertising' art work' is interesting, as is the 'system' of running accounts and part-payments.
