Description

This is one of the Oxyrhynchus Papyri that can be seen at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth. These documents were written in Egypt when it was ruled by the Romans. Most of the papyri record examples of everyday life such as shopping lists, tax forms and private letters.This item is part of the Roman School Teaching Resource for Key Stage 2.
