Description

Lead Curse Tablet found in the Amphitheatre at Caerleon and held in the collections at the National Roman Legion Museum. Sometimes the Romans would put curses on each other by scratching words onto lead tablets and praying to the gods. Accession number: 35.119/6.2This item is part of the Roman School Teaching Resource for Key Stage 2.
