Description

Calvinistic Methodist Minister. Born at Bala, gransdson of Thomas Charles. Founded Bala College with Dr. Lewis Edwards his brother-in-law, 1837. Ordained 1841. Principal of Trevecca College 1842-62. Pastor at Lady Llanover's Church, Abercarn, Mon, 1862-67. Registrar of U.C.W., Aberystwyth 1867-74. Retired to Aberdyfi 1874-78.
