Photographed by Geoff Charles. The broadcaster Wilfred Pickles came to Rhayader on St. David's Day, March 1955, to record the radio programme 'Have a Go'. During his visit, Wilfred Pickles was presented with a 10lb salmon caught that day in the river Wye and was chaired about the town. This photograph was published in the 'Montgomeryshire Express', 5 March 1955.
