After a hard won victory away at Dolgellau, Denbigh went into the third round of the Welsh Brewers Cup competition for the first time when they were drawn at home against Ferryside - a club not far from Llanelli

It was reported in the local paper that although they bowed out of the Welsh Brewers Cup at the third hurdle Dinbych put up a brave performance before conceding defeat to Ferryside in a pulsating match which kept the spectators enthralled for the entire 80 minutes.

During the season Denbigh won 20 out of 32 games that they played.
