Chepstow Mencap

Chepstow Mencap has been operating for six decades. Founded by a group of parents who wanted to do something about the lack services in the area, the group is now a service provider in its own right.

In 2022 Chepstow Mencap partnered with Mencap Cymru to deliver the National Lottery Heritage Fund project, 'Citizen Curators'. Over two years we collected the oral history of our group, along with historical images to create an exhibition at our HQ in Chepstow.
