Art, photography and maps: People's Collection Wales' iiif items
A collection of art works, photography and tithe maps which showcases PCW use of the International Image Interoperability Framework (iiif) to share images from partner institutions and others. By implementing iiif we can deliver detailed thumbnails as well as deep zoom viewing through our viewer, providing extensive accessibility to scholars and researchers and promoting cultural heritage all of us can enjoy. This collection includes items from the 'Sir Kyffin Williams Behind the Frame' collection, the Paul Mellon collection at the Yale Center for British Art of Welsh landscapes, castles and ruins, Tithe Maps from the NLW's 'Cynefin' project, and other various items from the National Library of Wales' collections such as Martin Ridley's photographic collection and nineteenth and twentieth century portrait drawings.
