The two Devolution Referendums are discussed and how television can affect the vote. He also discusses the effect of broadcasting royal or British events. As for the Miners' Strike he talks of the failure of television to convey the true implications of closing the mines and also refers to the lack of support for the miners ouside the mining valleys. S4C and the role of the Copnservatives are discussed eventually as Wales got the channel and then strengthened it.
