Iris Griffiths
This interviewee saw television for the first time in London, in 1942. She talks of seeing the Coronation on the streets of London and her feelings concerning the event. Aberfan is discussed and the effect of seeing the people's faces on her. Whilst discussing the Miners' Strike she speaks of the support of the community and her strong belief in the worth of discussing rather than striking.
