Anne Halborg

This interviewee remembers watching children's programmes in the 50s and can name the programmes that were shown on particuler days. Whilst discussing Aberfan he refers to the fact that the village had come to the world's attention following the broadcasting of the news of the slaughter there. He watched international Rugby matches on television regularly in the 70s and talks of the effect of broadcasting rugby on the community especially to attract children to the game and give people something to talk about. He speaks of the pleasure he gets from watching all royal events.
