Ann Griffiths
The interviewee remembers going to friends' houses to watch television and watched the Coronation with friends. Married and raised children without a television, but got one for Prince Charles' Investiture. Was watching television and running out to the street in turn on the day of the ceremony. Says it was an important day and there was a house full of people and food prepared. Does not remember seeing any objections on television but the police wanted the names of everyone that would be watching in the house. Does not remember much of the Devolution campaign but thinks that television affects elections.
