The interviewee remembers watching the Coronation and having a tea party. He's very fond of music on television and thinks voices are very important. He feels language standards have declined. The Queen of Tonga made a big impression on him on the day of the Coronation.
He heard of the Aberfan disaster when he was staying in London, and read about it in a newspaper there and saw it on television after he had returned home.
He went to the Maes on the day of Prince Charles' Investiture and saw it on television later. Before the ceremony he remembers seeing Lord Snowdon on television and was bored by all the discussions.
