Llanerch Colliery Explosion 1890
The photographs in this collection relate to the Llanerch Colliery Explosion on Feb 6 1890 when 176 men and boys were killed. Graves of victims of this disaster can be found in many of the Churches and Chapels in the Pontypool and Abersychan area.
