Wassailing

The ancient tradition of wassailing: either 'house visiting' whilst singing door-to-door and offering a drink from the wassailing bowl in exchange for gifts, or 'orchard visiting' to recite incantations and sing to the trees to promote a good harvest in cider-producing regions.
