The 3.7 inch Gun was an anti-aircraft weapon introduced into the British Army in 1938. This one was part of the 139 Battery, 56 Regiment Royal Artillery.

Not sure that this is a bofors. Perhaps a 3.7 inch anti-aircraft gun?
