Here we see the Robertson 4 High Cold Finishing Mill at Rheola that could roll finished coils down to 0.3mm in thickness, using a kerosene based flood lubrication system. This mill rolled coil to coil with a maximum of 50% reduction per pass but generally more like 15-25%, requiring multiple passes from tandem mill gauge coil at about 3mm. This picture shows the entry side of the mil, and the coils queued on the ingoing ramp have been annealed and are supported on steel spools to prevent collapse of the inner laps. After finish rolling the coil might be slit to multiple widths to be sold as a coil product, or cut to length into sheets on a cut to length line.
