Description
Newspaper image of the HMS BAYANO. On 11 March 1915 U 27 attacked and sank the BAYANO off the Wigtown coast. Three Llandudno men lost their lives: second-in-command Lieutenant Bernard Dunphy (pictured below), Sub-Lieutenant Simms and Gunner Richard Harrison.
