From the archives of the Temple of Peace, recording Welsh participation in the 1st UN General Assembly, which featured:
- support of Lord Mayor of Cardiff
- choir of the Welsh Temple of Peace sing
- address by Lady Megan Lloyd George
- finale by John Hughes
Finishes with draft preamble to the Charter of the United Nations.
The high level of Welsh content in this international event, reflected the level of involvement that the Welsh League of Nations Union - which became the United Nations Association Wales from 1945 - had in developing the early days of the UN.
