Previously known as WCIA, the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, Cymru Global connect the people of Wales to each other and the world to help shape a fair, peaceful and healthy planet. From our legacy over 100 years supporting peace building efforts from WW1 to the present day, we support a nation of global citizens to learn, collaborate and act for peace, climate and social justice. A small but ambitious charity, our work focuses on 5 main areas: heritage, peace building, education, volunteering and climate change.
Our Peace Heritage work enables learning from the past to build a better future, through volunteering and community projects with partners Wales-wide. Such projects over recent years have included

We partner with the National Library for Wales, museums and archives, and local groups; and we are fortunate to work from Wales' iconic Temple of Peace & Health in Cardiff, where we manage the Temple's Archives & Collections, and offer regular 'Temple Tours' / public drop in sessions. Built as the nation's memorial to the fallen of war - and housing Wales' WW1 Book of Remembrance - the Temple for 8 decades has been headquarters to many movements leading Welsh efforts for internationalism.
Our digitised archives on PCW document Wales’ long history of internationalist activism and peace building from pre-WW1 to the present day.
