Description

This Western Mail supplement was commissioned by Lord David Davies to mark the opening of Wales Temple of Peace and Health on 23 November 1938. It includes:
- Lord David Davies' vision for a Welsh Temple to Peace and Health
- Architect Percy Thomas' design of a national icon (which went on to be awarded the Royal Gold Medal for Architecture)
- Photo feature of the Temple of Peace within Cardiff's Civic Centre
- 'Great things to be done, when Hope and Justice Rules'
- 'Mothers of Wales and the World' who opened the Temple
- 'Thoughts in the Crypt' by J R Eaton - reflections on the WW1 Book of Remembrance for future pilgrims to the Temple of Peace
