Scientific Name:Parasola plicatilisFungi facts:The Pleated Ink cap is also known as the Little Japanese Umbrella because of its delicate and fragile cap. It occurs on lawns and short grass and is very short lived. It may emerge overnight and by the morning will have shed its spores and withered away. it is one of the ‘Ink caps’ with black spores. It is not considered to be edible. Technique:Hand embroidery
