Description

Scientific Name: Panaeolus semiovatus
Fungi facts: This fungus grows on dung and the generic name Panaeolus means variegated – a reference to the mottling of the gills. The white stem is often speckled blue-black due to the deposition of spores from the gills. It is common throughout the year.
Technique: Appliqué with hand and machine stitching
